Note 1 - the customer must take responsibility for any damage to underground pipes or cables. So please check there are none before I start the job.

I grind below ground to completely remove the core of the stump. They won’ t come back when I’ve removed them!
Big or small I remove them all.

Or about 6 or 7 hardwood stumps (Sycamore, Oak, etc.) with a diameter of 250mm (see photo) More if they are softwood (Pine, Willow, etc.)

WHAT does it COST?
Most jobs that I do are priced between £80 and £200.
Price does not only depend on the number and size of the the stumps.
Estimates are dependent on site conditions such as ease of access. If time has to be spent negotiating a narrow passage ( my machine needs 800mm clearance with no turns in it) , or if a fence panel needs removing for access, or if ramps need to be used to get over a retaining wall (max height 650mm). These factors will affect the price.
Similarly a stump situated in the centre of a lawn or border is easier to remove than one which is up against a wall or fence or on a slope. Stumps that are stoney ground or have gravel around them take longer.
If the work involves using a chainsaw to reduce the height of the stump or remove small trees this again this impacts on the the time.
